Mikie's 7th is a restaurant serving top quality food, food that is local, organic (seasonally), and fresh. We strive to make all of our delicious items with the freshest ingredients possible. Our deepest desire is to promote the purchase and use of local products to treat the New River Valley to a taste of home-cooking at its finest.

Our eatery introduces ideals vastly different from mass-producing restaurants so common today. We firmly believe that there is an increasing demand for restaurant fare that strikes a balance between food that is fast and cheap to that which is fancy and over-priced. At Mikie's 7th, our goal is to provide the elusive combination of delicious food at reasonable prices.

We're fanatically picky about our ingredients. We buy organic (seasonally) and naturally raised, grass-finished products locally from the rich countryside of Virginia. Mikie's 7th buys direct from local farms, including Shadowchase Farm. Having a loyalty to local resources not only supports the community, but allows us to provide flavor at its freshest.

Mikie's 7th serves uncomplicated, fresh, and flavorful dishes which are meticulously prepared. Come and enjoy outstanding meals ranging from pizza and hamburgers to salads and grilled chicken.

You might wonder, "7th what?" I have six children and am proud to call this my 7th "baby." Hand-picked ingredients and creative, flavorful recipes will tempt you to try our green-inspired menus.

We hope you'll enjoy!

Sincerely,
Mikie Mosser and Becky Huff

"Mikie's 7th is the best kept secret in the New River Valley. If you are looking for all natural, slow food, then this is the stop for you. All of their meat is straight from the farm. Their pizza dough is made on site (not shipped in frozen) and is whole wheat or white. The vegetables are fresh, and served in season. Even the paper plates / cups are corn-based products that can be composted. Reasonable prices. If you want to eat with the locals, then you need to stop here. Just don't tell too many people about it, or the secret will get out!‎"

"Mikie's 7th is an absolute treasure. Fabulous food - be sure to try the Sweet Potato Fries and the Breakfast Wrap. Great prices - our family of 4 ate dinner for $23. And you can even purchase beef and pork from their farm!"

"The small lunch and dinner menu features paninis, shrimp and clam bisque, a cobb salad and a beef po' boy made with "grass-finished sliced roast beef, mushrooms, caramelized onions and a balsamic glaze on French bread." The specials of the day when I visited were ribs and strawberry soup."
