Many of our ingredients are organic and locally sourced when in season, and always freshly prepared by our experienced staff. We strive to make all of our delicious items with the best ingredients possible. Our deepest desire is to promote the purchase and use of local products to treat the New River Valley to a taste of home-cooking at its finest.

7th’s Supper – Freshly prepared family meals, in your home.
What’s for dinner? Mikie’s 7th! Ask us about 7th’s Supper, the perfect combination of personal caterer and personal chef. Each week we create an original special chef’s menu with a limited variety of main dish and side dish options. Customers simply call or email the quantity and variety of their request by the designated deadline (normally 48 hours in advance of scheduled pick-ups), then come by the café for fresh or freshly frozen entrees made from scratch. Many of our current patrons use our dinner service to stock their refrigerators and freezers for the whole week, or utilize the service for holidays, vacations, or small family gatherings. We do all the shopping, assembly, cooking, and packaging. You just sit back and enjoy amazing home-cooked meals!
Our menu changes weekly and is always delicious and inspiring. We typically provide two to three main dish selections incorporating a choice of different meats (beef, chicken, seafood), several side dishes (vegetarians can often make these the focal point of dinner, just let us know your wishes), and a dessert. Our weekly themes cover a broad range, inspired by recipes from Italy, the Mediterranean, Asia, and “southern comfort”. Our ingredients, as with the rest of our dining and catering services, utilize local, seasonal ingredients whenever possible. We also “cook for the weather”, preparing scrumptious soups, stews, chilis, and breads when it’s cold and bitter outside, and lighter fare for the warmer months.
